Wikis work really well when each idea has its own page. You can use searches and links to get to the information that relates to a subject. Some wikis that cover complex ideas use sections of a long page. Ours will be a collection of brief pages.
- Front page concept The front page of a website often serves well as a portal to all the information on the site. It should have links to all the pages that a user of the page would want or need to see.
8 Separate the different ideas that are on your FrontPage and put them on their own page. 9 Your ListofClasses and ThisSummer should be on their own pages. 10 Add the word to make a link to the idea, save the page, then paste the information onto the new page. 11 When the information is moved to the new page, delete it from the original page.
12 Make links to all of your pages from your FrontPage. If you want to make links from pages within the wiki, just add the name of the page and it will become a link. Make sure that the spelling is the same, or you will create another page instead of linking.
13 Print out a copy of your MovieReview or BookReview when it is done and spellchecked. Fix all errors before printing. 14Print a copy of your FrontPage when it is modified. Fix all errors before printing.
